Description

Nestled in the heart of the historic county town of Haverfordwest, this charming terraced cottage is an ideal location from which to explore the majestic sights and outstanding landscape of beautiful Pembrokeshire.
Conveniently located in one of the oldest streets of the town and just a stone’s throw away from its imposing 12th-century castle, the cottage has been lovingly renovated in 2018 from its period origin dating back to 1315 into a boutique bolthole. There is a contemporary design throughout, boasting a cosy living area, well-equipped kitchen and an en-suite bedroom with a kingsize bed, perfect for relaxing following a busy day’s exploration.

From the edge of the doorstep, guests have access to the walled town which is home to variety of eclectic gift shops, independent cafés, traditional pubs and restaurants, as well as its award-winning farmer’s market located on the edge of the glistening River Cleddau every Friday.

Pembrokeshire is a place of discovery, from coastal splendour to rural calm, with pretty postcard villages, bustling market towns and magnificent beaches. There’s plenty to do and many places to go, whether you choose to explore by foot, bicycle, car or even by boat.

Whether you choose a short break or a longer stay, this delightful cottage will be waiting for you when you return from your days out exploring. Kick off your boots, pour a glass of wine and sit back and relax. Beach 7 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

About the local area

Pembrokeshire has tremendous variety. From majestic cliffs to sand dunes, from broad river estuaries to cascading streams, from gently rolling arable land to rocky outcrop - all can be seen within a few miles of each other.

This wealth of contrasts is due to the very bones of the land. The fact that such a variety of rock types occur within such a comparatively small area has directly affected the scenery and history of this westerly quarter of Wales.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, one of Britain's breathing spaces, takes in about a third of the county including the entire coastal strip, the upper reaches of the Daugleddau and the Preseli's. Its the only National Park that is almost all coastal. The National Park run an extensive programme of activities and events for both adults and children so you can really make the most of what the area has to offer.

Pembrokeshire is also the capital of activities! Everything from coasteering, diving, sailing and surfing by the coast to riding, walking and cycling just about anywhere! Just don't forget to relax on one of 83 beaches in the county!
