Set next door to the owner within the quaint and peaceful hamlet of Penffordd, this lovely semi-detached property offers a fantastic base from which to discover Pembrokeshire. It is centrally located within the county, just a few minutes’ drive to the Preseli Hills where you can enjoy some stunning forestry walks and take on the highest point in Pembrokeshire, Foel Cwmcerwyn, with outstanding views across west Wales. After a brisk walk, enjoy a local ale and some freshly cooked home produce in the nearby pub. The beautiful town of Narberth is close by and here you can enjoy a host of boutique shops, café, delicatessens and antique shops on the bustling high street.
The Old Post House was once the post office for the local area and has been lovingly furnished throughout to provide a good standard of accommodation. It has a kitchen/dining room with open vaulted ceilings and beams leading through to a warm and welcoming living room, which offers the perfect space to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Have a barbecue in the large south-facing garden, here you can enjoy a glass of wine or some stargazing!
A short drive away is the Manor Wildlife Park where you can see southern white rhinos and the resident tigers. Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, and the coastal resort of Tenby are all within a 40-minute drive. Beach 13 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 5 miles.

About the local area

Pembrokeshire has tremendous variety. From majestic cliffs to sand dunes, from broad river estuaries to cascading streams, from gently rolling arable land to rocky outcrop - all can be seen within a few miles of each other.

This wealth of contrasts is due to the very bones of the land. The fact that such a variety of rock types occur within such a comparatively small area has directly affected the scenery and history of this westerly quarter of Wales.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, one of Britain's breathing spaces, takes in about a third of the county including the entire coastal strip, the upper reaches of the Daugleddau and the Preseli's. Its the only National Park that is almost all coastal. The National Park run an extensive programme of activities and events for both adults and children so you can really make the most of what the area has to offer.

Pembrokeshire is also the capital of activities! Everything from coasteering, diving, sailing and surfing by the coast to riding, walking and cycling just about anywhere! Just don't forget to relax on one of 83 beaches in the county!
