The Granary is a detached cottage, situated next to the owners’ home on a smallholding, in a central position for discovering the whole of Pembrokeshire. It is nestled within beautiful rolling countryside in the hamlet of Princes Gate, and is close to the market town of Narberth and 10 minutes from the beaches of Amroth, Wisemans Bridge, Coppet Hall and Saundersfoot. This lovely traditional Welsh cottage has been renovated in 2019 to provide a fantastic space for your family and friends to discover West Wales. It has been finished to a very good standard, retaining original features such as beams and exposed stone walls in keeping with the character of this former grain store. Enjoy a morning coffee in your enclosed patio area and take in the sounds from the babbling brook that meanders alongside the paddock which is available to exercise your furry friend.
The Granary offers a bright and airy open plan living, dining and kitchen area with a focal wood burner to relax in front of on a cosy night in. The kitchen area is spacious and is ideal for preparing a celebratory meal or a traditional Welsh breakfast before a busy day sightseeing with your family. Both bedrooms have been lovingly furnished and offer a very good level of comfort.
10 minutes away is Colby Woodland Garden, a National Trust run garden and visitor centre, with a fantastic café serving fresh coffee and tea with homemade cakes a plenty; be sure to walk some of the many woodland trails and keep an eye out for the plethora of wildlife. On those rare rainy days, take a trip to the Blue Lagoon Water Park, complete with wave pool and flumes, or visit Hangar 5 Trampoline Park, both within 30 minutes. The famous walled town of Tenby is around 15 minutes away, compete with cobbled streets, glorious beach and picture-postcard harbour, all waiting to be discovered. Beach 7 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
