Description

Discover the delights of Pembrokeshire and its hidden gems from Little Haven, this very comfortably appointed two bedroom house which has been thoughtfully prepared for guests. A formal dining area in the open plan living room has direct access to the decking area to enjoy al fresco dining; a separate kitchen on the ground floor and feature spiral staircase from the living room to the first floor. On the first floor you will find two very comfortable bedrooms and a family shower room. Relax in the private, secure garden, which can also be accessed via double gates from the driveway, making this an ideal space to store small trailers, cycles, surf boards and canoes.

Enjoy a short drive from Little Haven to Milford Haven. Here you will discover the pretty picture postcard marina and a host of restaurants, local craft and produce shops. Sit back and relax with a freshly brewed coffee whilst taking in the beautiful scenery at the harbour side, and listen to the sail boats singing in the wind.

On your doorstep is the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, travelling west through to the tranquil Sandy Haven and onto Dale at the far south west point of Pembrokeshire. Travelling a little further along this magnificent and dramatic coastline is Martin’s Haven where you will discover Lockley Lodge Visitor Centre, which is the gateway to the islands of Skomer and Skokholm. This really is a wildlife haven and is well-known for puffins, gannets, razorbills and of course the grey seal and dolphins.

Venture south east of Milford Haven and you will approach the beautiful coastal fishing village of Saundersfoot where you can enjoy one of the many restaurants serving locally sourced produce and freshly caught fish, or a little further along is the walled town of Tenby, which is perfectly fitting for lazy family days at this breathtaking beach.

About the local area

Pembrokeshire has tremendous variety. From majestic cliffs to sand dunes, from broad river estuaries to cascading streams, from gently rolling arable land to rocky outcrop - all can be seen within a few miles of each other.

This wealth of contrasts is due to the very bones of the land. The fact that such a variety of rock types occur within such a comparatively small area has directly affected the scenery and history of this westerly quarter of Wales.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, one of Britain's breathing spaces, takes in about a third of the county including the entire coastal strip, the upper reaches of the Daugleddau and the Preseli's. Its the only National Park that is almost all coastal. The National Park run an extensive programme of activities and events for both adults and children so you can really make the most of what the area has to offer.

Pembrokeshire is also the capital of activities! Everything from coasteering, diving, sailing and surfing by the coast to riding, walking and cycling just about anywhere! Just don't forget to relax on one of 83 beaches in the county!
