Formerly St John the Baptist Church and now lovingly converted into an absolutely outstanding holiday home for you to enjoy. Light floods in through the original tall windows showing the stunning interior to its best advantage. A spiral staircase leads you from the lounge to the mezzanine level where  the magic continues with a four poster suite which is light and spacious. The lounge has original high ceilings and benefits from a wood burning stove, a large television and stylish, comfortable seating. Each room will endear you with original features unique to the property’s origins. Outside, the secluded garden including a stream, wraps gently around the property. There is a swinging garden seat on which to sit back and enjoy the peaceful ambience. There is a pub in which you may enjoy a meal within walking distance, or a mile away is the village of Capel Curig which boasts three pubs, a well stocked shop and is home to the Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre.

About the local area

Activities here range from rock climbing and skiing to orienteering and kayaking, to name just a few. There are excellent mountain bike trails and walks in the Gwydir and Penmachno Forests which are only a 10 minute drive away. The very popular holiday town of Betws y Coed with its outdoor shops and outlets, designer shops, cafes, restaurants, craft and antique fairs, narrow gauge steam railway and scenic footpaths along the river is only 3 miles away. Swallow Falls is 1 mile away and is a spectacular sight, especially after heavy rainfall. The Fairy Glen amy be found nearby in its secluded gorge with rapids and waterfalls channelling into a narrow ravine. Both are renowned beauty spots and a must to visit. All the fifteen mountain peaks of Snowdonia are close by. A little further afield there are numerous award winning beaches and Welsh Castles to explore. The National Trust run Bodnant Gardens and its newly opened Welsh Produce Centre (including cafe and restaurant) are within a few miles, and a little further on is the pretty seaside town of Llandudno with its many attractions. So whether you are after complete relaxation, adventure, sightseeing or a little of each, this delightful property offers the perfect base.
