Shoppers will also enjoy Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village, 15 miles, whilst families with children will certainly want to visit Chester Zoo and Blue Planet Aquarium. There are several National Trust properties in the area including Erdigg and Chirk Castle. Other places of interest worth a visit include the historic city of Chester and the vibrant city of Liverpool. The market town of Mold is just under five miles away and one of its main attractions, Theatre Clwyd, attracts visitors from all over England and Wales. For those who love the beach, the beaches of north Wales are very accessible from here and the popular resorts of Talacre, Rhyl and Prestatyn are all within a 30 minute drive. For those who want to venture further afield why not visit Llandegla with its mountain bike centre, 30 minutes by car, Llangollen, 45 minutes, beautiful Snowdonia, one hour, or even the island of Anglesey, 1 hour 10 minutes.
