Cemaes is the most northerly village in Wales and the bay is an Area of Outstanding Beauty, some of which is owned by The National Trust. The village boasts a harbour looking to the Irish Sea and two great sandy beaches both of which can be enjoyed by you and your family when visiting the area. The Bay is known for its safe bathing and there are no strong current. If you don't fancy a dip there are numerous public coastal paths leading from the beach. Here you have a good chance of spotting some fabulous bird life including Herring, Black-backed Gulls, Redshank and Oyster-catchers. There are also a number of facilities within walking distance including a broad promenade, snack bar and toilets.
