Aberaeron has become famous for its magnificent architecture. One house in every four buildings are listed either as being of special architectural or historical interest. Take a walk around and feast your eyes on the subtle differences between the houses and streets. The town also has a stonewalled harbor where there was one a thriving port for commercial sailing. Today you can enjoy a stroll around the harbour along Quay Parade.

Aberaeron is a popular shopping centre for its surrounding hinterland and also offers a selection of crafts and local produce and small shops within the town.

Inland, from Aberaeron, you can follow the Aeron valley to Llanerchaeron Mansion a restored National Trust property or for the more adventure there is a cycleway that leads from Aberaeron to Llanerchaeron.
