The path links a succession of unspoilt outposts, crossing everything from gently rolling farmland to barren and bleak moors. The long stretch from Clywedog reservoir to Glaslyn takes you from the lovely green rolling hills around the reservoir up onto wide, bleak moorland landscape. It is all utterly peaceful
