Description

Situated next to the water, with the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and a beach in front and countryside behind, this semi-detached cottage is perfect for families or couples alike, whatever your interests. You can bird watch from your bed while the sun rises over the sea. Sunsets can be enjoyed from the large roof terrace (accessed via a seating area on the first floor), pretty patio and garden. Water sports, fishing expeditions and boat trips and crabbing from the jetty are available in Dale, a pretty village less than a mile away with two beaches, one ideal for surfing. There is an excellent pub in Dale and a choice of places to eat. Award-winning beaches, with further possibilities for water sports, are a short drive away, including Marloes Sands, Broad Haven and Newgale. Pretty coastal villages, such as Little Haven and Solva, offer a further selection of pubs and restaurants. The embarkation point for Skomer Island, with its amazing puffin and manx shearwater colonies, is a 15-minute drive away. Day trips can be made to Tenby and its many tourist attractions. Britain’s smallest city, St David’s, with its beautiful cathedral is less than hour away, as are the stunning Preseli Hills, the secluded beaches of the north Pembrokeshire coast and numerous historic castles. Beach 50 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

About the local area

Pembrokeshire has tremendous variety. From majestic cliffs to sand dunes, from broad river estuaries to cascading streams, from gently rolling arable land to rocky outcrop - all can be seen within a few miles of each other.

This wealth of contrasts is due to the very bones of the land. The fact that such a variety of rock types occur within such a comparatively small area has directly affected the scenery and history of this westerly quarter of Wales.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, one of Britain's breathing spaces, takes in about a third of the county including the entire coastal strip, the upper reaches of the Daugleddau and the Preseli's. Its the only National Park that is almost all coastal. The National Park run an extensive programme of activities and events for both adults and children so you can really make the most of what the area has to offer.

Pembrokeshire is also the capital of activities! Everything from coasteering, diving, sailing and surfing by the coast to riding, walking and cycling just about anywhere! Just don't forget to relax on one of 83 beaches in the county!
