Backed by a large pebble storm wall, the beach sits right next to the village, and stretching three miles down the coast of Pembrokeshire, it provides excellent surfing conditions for beginners. Just under two miles from Newgale lies the village of Roch. Home to its very own eleventh-century castle which still today dominates the Pembrokeshire skyline for 20 miles, the picturesque village of Roch provides an interesting excursion for a break from the action.
