Description

This immaculate and well presented bungalow offers comfort, convenience and seclusion. Formerly an old dairy, it lies on a peaceful, non working farm, nestled on the side of a valley and offers spectacular views across Pembrokeshire. From the northern Preseli Hills to the graceful, undulating farmland of the south, the vast vista from the living room and bedrooms is breathtaking. Recently renovated to a very high standard, generously proportioned rooms, inviting soft furnishings and multi fuel log burner, along with many more home comforts, ensure rest and relaxation aplenty. Barbecuing and dining alfresco beneath a galaxy of stars to the sound track of nature, makes the Old Dairy's garden the perfect spot for recuperating and reflecting on the day's adventures.

For those able to prise themselves from the timeless tranquillity of the Old Dairy, there's plenty of adventure to be had from the doorstep. Way marked routes take walkers amongst the flora and fauna of the Pembrokeshire countryside where minks, otters, stoats, buzzards and res kites are commonly spotted. Cyclists, fishermen and golfers are also well catered for in the local vicinity and shoppers, art lovers and foodies won't be disappointed either. The brightly coloured market town of Narberth lies just five miles from The Old Dairy and offers a wonderful blend of unique independent shops, galleries with a vast array of local art and some great eateries. The cafe bar within Ultracomeda, the Spanish deli on the high street, serves lunches and wines that simply can't be missed!

With The Old Dairy in Clynderwen occupying such a central position in Pembrokeshire, a wealth of tourist attractions, beaches and wonderful places can be reached within just a half hour drive. The medieval walled town of Tenby, just 15 miles away, with its stunning beaches, galleries, cafes, bars and winding streets, is a popular destination for many. The 16th century Plantagenet House serves exceptionally good dishes created from local produce and fresh fish, while the Dennis Cafe on  Castle Sands, with its fantastic views and relaxed atmosphere has been rated by The Times, as on of the top ten coffee drinking spots in the whole of the UK. Also it's from here that brightly coloured, old fishing boats ferry visitors across the three mile stretch of water to Caldey Island: Owned and farmed by the self sufficient monks for centuries, many find it hard to resist sampling the chocolate, perfume and serene atmosphere created by its very special residents.

Pembrokeshire also serves up considerable delights for younger family members: Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, offers a fun packed day for the whole family and Oakwood Theme Park, with heart stopping, adrenalin pumping rides, will keep all thrill seekers entertained. Both places, along with many more are within easy striking distance of the Old Dairy. In fact with numerous castles, incredible beaches, nature reserves, gardens, zoos, coastal paths, seaside towns and villages offering boat trips, water sports of every kind, pony trekking, out door pursuits and even a vineyard and chocolate factory to visit, the biggest problems facing anyone staying in the tranquil Old Dairy will be firstly, whether to ever leave and secondly which of the many adventures to experience!
