On the western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, in the heart of the Towy Valley, sits Llangadog, an attractive village of around 1,000 people who welcome walkers, hikers and other lovers of the open Welsh countryside to their home each year.
Llangadog is a truly special little place that is dearly loved by those who know it well. The traditional village square has recently been lovingly restored and the local shops continue to proudly serve a warm community of people in the village.
The village has close links with its neighbours Bethlehem and Capel Gwynfe, with many people in the area employed at a pet food factory, and others commuting to Swansea or Carmarthen.
The area is steeped in Welsh history and has two Iron Age hill forts.
