Or wander into the prehistoric past at Dan-yr Ogof Showcaves, just 9 miles from Talarbongam, these caves have been voted by the British public as ‘Britain’s finest natural wonder’. The ten miles of accessible caves are awe-inspiring and with the Iron Age Village, the Dinosaur Park, the farm and Barney’s play barn, the site offers something for the whole family to enjoy. The National Botanical gardens also caters well for all ages; just 16 miles from Talarbongam, its enormous glass dome housing plants from across the globe, is an impressive site.
