Capel Garmon is renowned for the Neolithic burial chamber just outside the village and for its wonderful views of the Conwy Valley and the Snowdonia National Park.  The neighboring village of Llanrwst is a lively market town with a weekly livestock market and boasts an impressive stone bridge built in 1636. Other attractions within proximity of the village include the Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre where one can enjoy activities from rock climbing, mountain walking and skiing to sea kayaking.  There are also excellent mountain bike trails in the Gwydr and Penmachno forests and the famous Red Bull circuit at Coed y Brenin is within commuting distance.

For those who prefer the coast there are numerous award -winning beaches and castles to be enjoyed and the attractive coastal town of Llandudno with its impressive seafront, Victorian tramway, cable car and Dry Ski Slope on the Great Orme is 30 minutes away.  For gardening enthusiasts the famous Bodnant Gardens are within a few miles and other attractions include Dolwyddelan Castle, Trefriw Woolen Mill which is hydro electrically powered, Swallow Falls at Betws y Coed, the Llanberis Mountain Railway and slate museum and Caernarfon Castle.

Siabod View is an ideal base for those wanting a truly relaxing holiday or equally for those with a sense of adventure who enjoy outdoor pursuits of all kind as it is ideally located for enjoying both mountain and coast.
