2 Neptune House  is a stunning and stylish, stone-built semi-detached holiday cottage nestling in the quiet town of Corris Uchaf in Southern Snowdonia, not far from Machynlleth.

The accommodation within this self catering contemporary cottage is set over three floors; located within the gentler part of Snowdonia. It consists of three bedrooms; two doubles and a single and has the benefit of a sofa bed in the lounge. The lower ground floor family kitchen/dining room is airy and spacious with plenty of seating and the first floor lounge has a feature wood burner with original slate lintel, exposed beams, fabric covered sofas and sash windows.

Nearby attractions include the Corris Craft Centre selling unique hand crafted items in 10 craft workshops, the King Arthur's Labyrinth where you can travel underground and experience tales based on the Arthurian legend, the renowned Centre for Alternative Technology where all kinds of energy saving devices are utilised and Coed y Brenin Forest where world class mountain biking and walking trails can be found. On a clear day it is worth climbing Cader Idris above Dolgellau as the views from the top are truly astounding. Tal y Llyn Lake below Cader Idris is one of the most famous and scenic fishing lakes in Wales. The Tal y Llyn Railway allows visitors to enjoy a 7 mile steam journey from Tywyn to Nant Gwernol and Corris itself has a railway built in 1859 - the first narrow gauge railway in Mid Wales. The small market town of Machynlleth is 6 miles from Corris Uchaf and is known for its weekly street market, interesting buildings, museum of modern art and leisure centre. For nature lovers there is a nature reserve at Ynys Hir and for walkers there are numerous footpaths starting from directly outside Neptune House holiday accommodation. Indeed Corris is ideally located for touring Snowdonia and for all the historical and coastal attractions of both North and Mid Wales.
