Dyffryn is a luxurious, pet friendly, semi detached holiday cottage, which has recently been completely refurbished to an exceptional standard, on the edge of the popular, picturesque village of Betws y Coed. Set in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, Betws y Coed is the best known all year round inland destination in North Wales. The town is located in a valley near the point where the River Conwy is joined by the River Llugwy and the River Lledr, and was founded in the late sixth century around a monastery. It has an interesting range of shops and eating establishments and is an excellent base from which to explore both the mountains of Snowdonia and the stunning North Wales Coast.

For mountain bike enthusiasts Gwydyr Forest is right on the doorstep and for walkers there are unlimited forest, river, lake and mountain walks to suit all abilities. Other tourist attractions include the Swallow Falls, the famous and award winning Bodnant Gardens, Trefriw Woolen Mill, which is hydro electrically powered, the historic town of Conwy, with its attractive harbour and marina and Castle built by Edward I in 1280 and all the amenities of the town of Llandudno, with its impressive seafront, Victorian tramway. There is also a cable car and dry ski slope on the Great Orme which is close by. There is a station in the centre of the town which makes the whole of scenic North Wales accessible by public transport. Best holiday cottage we have stayed in so far would highly recommend it especially to dog owners my dog loved the lovely big garden and we loved the comfy large house.
