Carrog Cottage is an attractive stone built mid terraced cottage set in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park in the scattered village of Cwn Penmachno. Located in the green hills of the Machno Valley this quarryman's cottage is set against a wonderful, mountainous backdrop and offers cosy accommodation with original beams and exposed wood flooring.

Bedroom: With two single beds which zip and link to make one super king size double if preferred, shoer over bath and glass privacy cubicle with WC and wash basin
All electricity, bed linen and towels included. First basket of logs supplied.
Enclosed rear garden with patio and furniture. Patio accessed via 12 steep steps with very steep back garden unsuitable for young children unsupervised. Roadside parking for 1 car outside the cottage and additional roadside parking nearby.

The property is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of North Wales. There are many attractions within a short drive, including National Trust Chirk Castle, the last Welsh castle from the reign of Edward I still lived in today, with its award winning gardens as well as a shop and tea rooms, as well as Erddig, a wonderful country house also with the National Trust, and offering the opportunity to find out about life above and below stairs. The nearby town of Ruthin has a fascinating craft centre with galleries and artists studios as well as a retail gallery and cafe whilst the picturesque village of Betwys y Coed is just a short drive, and has a visitor centre, shopping facilities, restaurants and an attractive green. It is also home to Tree Top Adventures - an award wining attraction offering high level adventures through the trees! Also within reach is the medieval town of Conwy with its awe inspiring castle steeped in history. Closer to home there are a number od scenic walks through the local area, including one that passes the spectacular Conwy Waterfall, the Snowdonia National Park and a magnificent golf course ensuring that there really is something for everyone in this stunning area.
