Description
9 Park Isallt is located in a small and private residential area only 100 yards from the sea in the idyllic tourist hot spot of Trearddur Bay. Located on the west coast of Holy Island off the north west coast of Anglesey in North Wales, Trearddur Bay has its own eco climate and its beaches are some of the best on the Island. The main beach is located literally on the doorstep of this property and Porth Dafarch the second beach is less than a mile away has been awarded Blue Flag status. There are some shallow scuba diving sites on the beach and sea kayaking; sailing and sea fishing are popular leisure pursuits. The historic name for Trearddur Bay is Tywyn y Capel, and at the centre of the beach lies and ancient burial ground known by the old name which was excavated in 2003. There are two general shops in the centre of the village only half a mile from the property, along with a garage, two golf courses (one renowned 18 hole and a small 9 hole), and many hotels including the large Trearddur Bay Hotel located behind the property. It may be possible for guests using the hotel to also use the leisure facilities.

A large out of town shopping complex is located three miles away. Horse riding is available locally and there are stunning coastal walks literally from the doorstep in an area of outstanding natural beauty which hosts several nature reserves. Details of some of the outstanding coastal walks are available at the property. There are ancient monuments on Holyhead Mountain and ancient burial chambers in the surrounding area. Each October there is a renowned Anglesey Oyster and Welsh Produce Festival at the Trearddur Bay hotel and the life boat practice on the beach every Sunday morning providing entertainment for visitors. Each year the lifeboat hold a popular fire work display on the beach. There are some excellent eating establishments in the area including the Sea Croft restaurant in Trearddur Bay and the recently refurbished award winning White Eagle Hotel in Rhos Colyn 4 miles away. The RAF has a base as used by Prince William in Valley and it is often possible to view helicopter rescue practices. Fast ferries operate from Holyhead three miles away and it is possible to visit Dublin for the day - a journey of and hour and a half.
