Llys y Graig forms half of a Victorian Hall which was originally built as a home for a wealthy Lancashire cotton mill owner. This extremely spacious, self catering holiday house retains a host of original period features and is an ideal venue for family groups wishing to holiday in this quiet and un-spoilt corner of Anglesey. The comfortable and homely accommodation provides everything that a large gathering of family and friends may require whilst the beach and Anglesey Coastal Path are but a 5 minute walk. The stunning Blue Flag Award winning beaches of Llandona, Benllech and Red Wharf Bay are within easy reach and some of the best tourist destinations on the island are within a 20 minute drive.
The property has oil central heating and comprises:

Kitchen: with electric cooker, large microwave, fridge / freezer, extra freezer and dishwasher; access through to utility room housing washing machine and with access to outside WC.

From Llys y Graig, guests can walk to Pentraeth, a mile away, where there are shops, a post office and petrol station and various eateries serving food all day. The historic town of Beaumaris with its Castle, Jail, Court, designer shops and quality restaurants is seven miles away. From the water front visitors can enjoy fishing and sailing trips, and there are play areas for children both outdoors and indoors. The attractions of Anglesey Sea Zoo, Pili Palas (a butterfly fun centre), Henblas Country Park, Plas Newydd (the National Trust home of the Marquis of Anglesey) and Foel Farm are within half an hours drive and a day trip from Holyhead to Dublin takes just 90 minutes each way. The mountains of Snowdonia, with 15 peaks being over 3000 feet, are within easy distance and the town of Llanberis with its Slate Museum, Electric Mountain tours, boating on the lake and steam train rides to the summit of Snowdon, attracts many visitors. The Welsh Highland Railway provides train journeys from Caernarfon to Porthmadog through some of the most stunning scenery in the world. The Italian town of Portmeirion famous for its pottery and where the television series “The Prisoner” was filmed is only a few miles from Porthmadog and well worth a visit. Llys y Graig is the perfect base for a pet friendly, family self catering holiday where guests require space and proximity to a range of attractions.
