Take a walk in the beautiful Welsh county of Powys and experience the views from the highest mountain in Wales outside of the national parks. The summit of the Berwyn Ridge lies on the border between England and Wales and this walk is a fairly energetic one of seven miles in length. Starting from the base of the Pistyll Rhaedr falls and heading through the woods, this route zig zags up the mountain side and along the ridge walk path that takes you into the Berwyn Mountains, affording some lovely views over the Llyn Lluncaws and Cadair Berwyn on the way.
