Description

This spectacular example of a barn conversion retains the original features, character and charm of a traditional Welsh barn. With far-reaching views down across the valley, the stunning setting can be really taken advantage of from the hot tub. The location makes it easy to explore not only mid Wales, but the bordering counties of North Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire. There are plenty of activities locally, from the National Trust properties at Attingham, Chirk Castle, Erddig and Powys Castle, watersports on the lakes, fishing, golf, high ropes courses, paintballing and go-karting. In North Wales there are zip wires, Bounce Below, mountain bike trails, Snowdonia and electric mountain. The west Wales coastline with sandy beaches is around an hours drive over the Berwyn Mountains or Dinas Mawddwy.

About the local area

For those who really want to escape it all then mid Wales is the place to go. Because of the vast mountain ranges in this area much of it is uninhabitable. However this does not stop it from being a beautiful place to visit.

The Cambrian Mountain range dominates and because it is often over looked due to the Snowdonian and Brecon Beacon ranges it is a secret just waiting to be discovered. Fish in one of the many reservoirs and rivers or bike up some of the challenging trails across the range.

Further to the east the towns of Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells both provide amenities for your day in the mountains. From here you can also travel to the Black Mountains in the South East or visit the neighbouring English border
