Description

The Cowboy Hut is a slightly larger shepherds hut and is ideal for a small family to be able to experience an alternative way of holidaying together; a unique experience to be had in the Cambrian Mountains. It has been built in the traditional manner with its own continental theme and with an integral shower room. It has use of the on-site facilities, including the internet café, laundry and substantial grounds. Because of its position within the Cambrian Mountains, cyclists and keen walkers will be spoilt for choice, as the area has unrivalled walks along the Kerry Ridgeway and Offa’s Dyke footpath nearby. Shop and pub serving food 3 miles. Cowboy Hut can be booked together with Nadine (UK6070), Indian Hut (UK6071), Treehouse View (UK6242) and The Nomad (UK6243) to accommodate up to 12 guests.

About the local area

For those who really want to escape it all then mid Wales is the place to go. Because of the vast mountain ranges in this area much of it is uninhabitable. However this does not stop it from being a beautiful place to visit.

The Cambrian Mountain range dominates and because it is often over looked due to the Snowdonian and Brecon Beacon ranges it is a secret just waiting to be discovered. Fish in one of the many reservoirs and rivers or bike up some of the challenging trails across the range.

Further to the east the towns of Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells both provide amenities for your day in the mountains. From here you can also travel to the Black Mountains in the South East or visit the neighbouring English border
