Cosy and very comfortable, it has been furnished and equipped to the W.T.B. ‘4 Star’ standard, in pretty cottage style. Approached by a good farm track at the side of a field, the cottage is set between Radnor Forest and Offa’s Dyke Path – a superb area for walkers and nature lovers. Riding is available locally. Golf 6 miles. The popular inland resort of Llandrindod Wells, once a famous spa, with its many holiday and sporting attractions, and Hay-on-Wye (famous for its bookshops) are both 14 miles distant. About the local area

For those who really want to escape it all then mid Wales is the place to go. Because of the vast mountain ranges in this area much of it is uninhabitable. However this does not stop it from being a beautiful place to visit.

The Cambrian Mountain range dominates and because it is often over looked due to the Snowdonian and Brecon Beacon ranges it is a secret just waiting to be discovered. Fish in one of the many reservoirs and rivers or bike up some of the challenging trails across the range.

Further to the east the towns of Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells both provide amenities for your day in the mountains. From here you can also travel to the Black Mountains in the South East or visit the neighbouring English border
