A delicious meal and a drink can be enjoyed at The Ship Inn or The Pentre Inn - which overlooks the picturesque beach. As well as two pubs, Llangrannog has two very individual beachside cafés The Pentre Arms which is beach side with large picture window overlooking the beach and The Ship Inn both serve wonderful food. Crannog Cottage is in a particularly good location for natural history lovers, walkers and cyclists. The coastal path affords excellent walking and glimpses of dolphins and seals from the cliff tops. Other picturesque beaches such as Tresaith, Penbryn and Mwnt are located close-by or within a short drive. The Ceredigion Coast Path links Tresaith to neighbouring Aberporth to the south and Penbryn to the north. Penbryn and its sand dunes and surrounding woodland are managed by the National Trust. The harbour town of New Quay (8 miles) offers a range of water sports, whilst the attractive market town of Cardigan (12 miles) offers theatre, cinema and swimming pool. A day out at Cilgerran Wildlife Centre, near Cardigan, is a must for families, where you can enjoy a boat or canoe trip on the river Teifi.
The Cardi Bach bus service is a special summer only service from Cardigan to New Quay West and back twice a day between June and October. It links all the beaches in between and can transport 2 bikes. Sailing, fishing, golf, horse riding and a dry ski-slope are all available locally. Llangrannog hosts a magnificent bonfire display every November, where the village welcomes hundreds of spectators. This beautiful area has something to offer everyone.
